What kind of food does Ford’s Filling Station serve?
Dedication to craft is evident in a menu that is rustic, simple and innovative yet familiar. Our menu emphasizes flavor in exciting, uncomplicated combinations and is dictated by the seasons. Cuisine relies on the quality of the finest ingredients in season and the strong desire of Chef Ford to bring out all of their natural greatness. The focus is on regional American cuisine with the occasional bistro or pub favorite. Think of it as elevated comfort food and you get the idea.
Are there vegetarian options?
Our dinner menu currently offers 3-4 appetizers, 1-2 main courses, one dinner-size salad, and several side dishes that are vegetarian. We are able to to accommodate a vegan diet. Our brunch menu also includes many vegetarian options.
Can you accommodate large parties?
The restaurant is comprised of three rooms - main dining room, side patio (available indoor and outdoor), and beer garden. We can accommodate private parties ranging from ten to 200 people. When do you get cancellations?
This is difficult to predict. You can always call the night you wish to dine and the host will let you know if there are any last minute cancellations.

Do you have live music?
We have live music every third Wednesday from 6-10pm, and a blues/jazz pianist during Boozeday Tuesdays from 5-8pm.

What is the whole pig dinner?
The Whole Pig Dinner serves 6-8 people. Our current market price is $600 with a $50/person for any guest over 8 up to 11 guests. However, 12-16 guests will require two pigs. We are happy to provide a vegetarian tasting menu that coincides with each pig course for $50/person.
Payment must be received 10 days in advance to insure availability of the pig. The balance due at the end of the night is for beverages, tax and gratuity. Deposits are non-refundable 10 days prior to event.
Since each pig is different, the chef carves them based on the individual pig. Typically, the dinner usually consists of 3-4 starters, whole pig with 3 farmer’s market vegetables & one starch, and Candied bacon sundae.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes. There is a $2.50/person cake cutting fee.

We have gift cards available at the restaurant and on our website.
Where can I park?
Street or parking structures located on Watseka and Cardiff. It is 2 hours free and $1/hour after.
